Your plans.
Your choice to share.

Saved beaches and plans

The visitor features store your saved beaches, visited checklist and beach day in this browser’s local storage. Adding beaches and editing your day saves automatically as you browse. If local storage is unavailable, the day can be kept temporarily in the current browser tab. Shared trip links open as previews and replace your stored day only when you choose “Use this day.” These features do not create a visitor account or sync across devices. You can remove this information by clearing this site’s browser data.

Location and maps

The planner asks for your browser’s permission when you select current location. You can choose a starting point manually instead. Map tiles are requested from OpenStreetMap services; route estimates send your selected start and stops to the public OSRM routing service. Those providers receive network information such as your IP address. Google Maps embeds also load on beach pages, and opening Google directions sends your selected route to Google. These services apply their own privacy terms.

Sharing a plan

New share links exclude your chosen starting point by default and use Willemstad town centre as a neutral starting point. You can deliberately include your exact start using the checkbox in the sharing dialog. Anyone who has the link can read the stops and timings, and the exact start if you included it. Sharing through WhatsApp sends the link to WhatsApp and your recipients.

Previously created links may still contain an exact starting point. They cannot be recalled by this site; make a new link if you want a less precise version. A shared link is not a private account record.

Contact messages

If you use our contact form, we store the name you choose to give, your email address, message and submission time so the site owner can review and respond to your request. Messages are not published. Do not include identity documents, payment details or sensitive personal information.

For abuse prevention, submissions also use a daily hash of the connecting IP address. The application does not save the raw address in the contact record. Contact records older than 90 days are removed when contact cleanup next runs; hosting or separately retained backups may have their own retention.

Analytics and advertising

Google Analytics loads automatically on public pages to measure visits, page interactions, beach saves and use of the trip planner. It uses cookies and processes technical information, including device and approximate location information. We do not send contact-form messages, exact trip starting points or shared-plan contents as custom analytics events. Planner and contact-page tracking is isolated from their links and form fields. Advertising features are disabled. Browser tracking protection or an analytics blocker can prevent collection. Google and hosting providers may process information internationally. Maps operate separately as described above.

Hosting and your requests

The hosting service processes technical requests to deliver and protect the site. Administrative access is restricted to the authorized site owner through the hosting provider’s sign-in service. Service providers may process data outside your country. Contact the Cura To Go site owner through the contact form to ask about access, correction or deletion of a submitted message. Use the same email address so we can identify the request.
