About this beach
Santu Pretu is also known as Black Sand Beach and Boca Santu Pretu. Curaçao’s tourism board identifies the dark-sand shore and the nearby Catharine wreck as a diving destination. Dive Curaçao reports that the road to the beach is closed. Confirm a permitted walking approach or a boat excursion before setting out; this is not a drive-to-the-sand stop.
